Inspiring ang kuwento ang inilahad ng former beauty queen na si Venus Raj o Maria Venus Bayonito Raj tungkol sa katangian ng mga Pilipino na likas na matulungin.

Ayon sa Instagram post ng Miss Universe 2010 4th runner-up nitong September 6, laking tuwa niya na dalawang tao ang nagmagandang-loob na maibalik ang naiwan niyang wallet sa isang ridesharing car.

Kuwento ni Venus, “Nothing is by accident. God is in every detail of our lives.

“This story happened this morning. I rode a Grab to go to the salon. While in the grab, I was doing some personal admin and was paying online stuff using my card.

“When we reached the destination, I noticed that the Grab app brought us to the salon's old location. I wanted to go down and just walk to the new location, but Kuya Jeremy (I asked for his permission to share this) was kind enough to bring me to the exact place. Hinatid niya ako. Then he left.”

Matapos ang ilang minuto nakatanggap ng tawag si Venus at dito niya nalaman na isang babae ang nakahanap ng kaniyang wallet.

Pagpapatuloy niya, “Few minutes later, a random number was calling me. I did not pick up. Then I received a message from the same number saying that I left my wallet in the Grab and she's the passenger after me and she found it.

“This woman is a sister in Christ. We have served together in church.

“I called her back immediately, talked to her while in awe of God's amazing grace, she then put the phone on speaker and let me talk to the driver. I talked to Kuya Jeremy, thanked him, and gave him instructions. Immediately after bringing her to her destination, Kuya Jeremy brought my wallet back.”

“This is clearly God showing me that He is with me literally every single moment of my life. It could have been a different passenger, why this Sister in Christ who knows exactly how to contact me?

“Kuya Jeremy did not know that I was his passenger because I was wearing a mask and I'm using my first name and middle name on the app. But he was honest enough to bring my wallet back, intact.”

Dagdag ni Venus, “I'm amazed at how God [protects] us, [provides] for us, and even care for the smallest details of our lives.

“I'm sharing this to honor the Lord, and to thank Kuya Jeremy and my sister in Christ!

“Maraming salamat Kuya and Ate, pagpalain po kayo ng Panginoon.”
