Vice Ganda gave Kim Chiu some heartfelt advice during It's Showtime on Tuesday, December 12.

The two hosts had a conversation during their "EXpecially For You" segment where a contestant chooses a new potential love interest but the contestant's ex also helps them in choosing.

While Vice Ganda was interviewing the contestants, he noticed Kim's outfit and joked that she looked like she was attending prom.

On a more serious note, Vice told Kim, "Maganda ka, mabuti kang tao. Maganda ang puso mo. You deserve the best, you deserve love.” The two hosts then shared a hug.

The uplifting moment happened amid controversy that Kim and her longtime boyfriend Xian Lim had broken up. The pair have been embroiled in breakup rumors since November after netizens noticed that the two haven't been seen together in a while.

In an interview in late November, Kim was asked about their relationship status and she briefly answered, "Sa amin na lang muna 'yun. We'll just keep it to ourselves na muna."

Meanwhile, Xian recently posted a statement, asking everyone to be careful in choosing what to believe and avoid “deceiving headlines.”

The actor has also deleted most of the content on his YouTube channel, with the remaining content only two shorts, a seven-minute video, and two playlists.

Xian currently has a podcast titled Experience Life and is set to star in the upcoming GMA series Love. Die. Repeat. along with Jennylyn Mercado, Valeen Montenegro, Ina Feleo, and Victor Anastacio.

It's Showtime airs every Monday to Saturday, 12 noon to 3:00 p.m., on GTV.
