Binibining Pilipinas candidate Vickie Rushton has decided to compete again in the prestigious pageant.

If you remember, the girlfriend of Kapuso leading man Jason Abalos came so close to clinching a title in 2018, wherein she placed first runner-up.

In her Instagram post yesterday, February 4, Vickie thanked all the people for sending her words of encouragement as she begins her journey to bring home a title in Binibining Pilipinas 2020.

She wrote, “Since the announcement, I have been receiving lots of words of encouragement. I've read your messages, comments, and posts. And for that, THANK YOU. You are the reason why I will never stop trying. I just want to thank all of you for believing in me.”

Vickie admitted that she has some reservations, but the incredible support that she has been receiving is a great motivation to her.

“Yes, I have fears, it's normal, but I know I can do this because I have YOU by my side. 🦋”
