Victor Magtanggol exceeded the expectations of many viewers with a jaw-dropping pilot episode last night, July 30.

#WalangIwanan: Maine Mendoza tweets her support for Alden Richards and his new show 'Victor Magtanggol'

The show is composed of the brightest and most talented stars in the country led by Pambansang Bae Alden Richards, Coney Reyes, John Estrada, Al Tantay, Janine Gutierrez, Andrea Torres and Eric Quizon.

Also part of the mega-series are Chynna Ortaleza, Pancho Magno, Kristoffer Martin, Dion Ignacio, Maritoni Fernadez, Lindsay Johnston, Reese Tuazon, Yuan Francsico and Ex Battalion members Flow-G and King Badger.

Several A-list celebrities like Maine Mendoza, Vic Sotto, and Aiai Delas Alas, to name a few, have also expressed their support for Alden on his dream project.

In his interview with 24 Oras last night, Alden reacted to Maine's interview where she was asked if she is willing to be a guest star in Victor Magtanggol.

Maine Mendoza on appearing in 'Victor Magtanggol': "Puwede naman po kasi si Alden naman..."

The Kapuso actor said, “That's really out of the question, actually anytime, bukas na bukas ang Victor Magtanggol at saka sobrang thankful ako kay Maine for the all-out support na ipinaramdam niya sa akin all throughout this journey. So ang masasabi ko lang talaga sa kaniya andito rin ako for her whenever or kung ano man gagawin niya in the future. Solo or kami together.”

The #VictorMagtanggolAngSimula also ruled Twitterverse after grabbing the top spot in Twitter Philippines with at least a million tweets

Alden did not forget to thank everyone who showed their love for him on social media for making Victor Magtanggol number one.

“Actually po, nakakatuwa kasi hindi po ako makatulog kagabi sa kakaantay so lumabas 'yung hashtag but with God's grace after five minutes, after midnight nag-trend na agad siya. Mga number four and then until now nag-number one trend siya,”
