Listen to Vilmark Viray's third self-composed song 'INOWY' on 'Spotlight Music Sessions.'
The Clash season 4 runner-up Vilmark Viray released his third self-composed single titled 'I'm not Okay Without You' or 'INOWY' on Spotlight Music Sessions on Friday, February 16.
In an interview with GMANetwork.com, Vilmark shared that 'INOWY' is like a sequel to his song, "Lisan," which was inspired by the recent passing of his father.
“If maririnig ng ating mga Kapuso, hugot siya uli pero this time mas mabigat kasi it's about nang-ghost, tapos naiwan mag-isa,” he said.
Vilmark said he took inspiration from his past experiences when writing the song.
“Hindi naman madalas, pero mas nagiging comfortable ako recently na magsulat ng mga hugot songs so 'yun 'yung reason kung bakit nabuo,” he said.
He added that he's also nervous about this song because it's his first English composition, but said that it's what made it extra special to him.

Both "Lisan" and "I'm not Okay Without You" were received warmly by fans and music lovers alike.
When asked how he feels about this, Vilmark answered, “Sobrang saya. Hindi ko in-expect kasi bago lang din ako sa industry and hindi ko alam kung papaano ba tatanggapin ng mga tao 'yung mga songs ko."
He added that when writing songs, as much as he could, he wanted each composition to be relatable to everyone listening.
“I'm really happy na they are loving the songs and they are receiving them well,” he said.
