It's a double victory for Pampanga's Kulot Crooner Vilmark Viray as he shortly regained his spot in GMA musical competition The Clash 2021 one week after he got eliminated which made him drop out of the Top 6 Clashers.
This came after Vilmark and the other eliminated contestants Ralph Padiernos, Fame Gomez, Raffy Roque, Sky Valentine, and Jeffrey Dela Torre returned on The Clash stage to fight for a second chance in the competition via the show's wildcard round called “Clashback.”
Here, they battled it out individually where Vilmark sang Sam Smith's "Writing's on the Wall."
In Comedy Concert Queen Aiai Delas Alas' comment, she expressed her ineffable admiration to the curly-haired singer.
"No'ng pinapanood kita, sobrang galing na galing ako sa 'yo, pinapalakpakan kita. Parang pag-ibig, 'di ba, minsan tinatanong mo sa sarili mo bakit mahal mo 'yung tao pero walang explanation. Gano'n 'yung naramdaman ko sa 'yo," the comedienne said.
True to his words, Asia's Nightingale Lani Misalucha agreed that Vilmark had brought back his magic.
"I think 'yun na 'yung magic. I think naramdaman ko 'yung magic ulit ni Vilmark, parang gano'n," the esteemed singer uttered. "So continue with that kind of singing and I hope you will be able to do that every single time or malagpasan mo so thank you for the beautiful colors."
Asia's Christian Bautista shared the same comment as Lani's. He told Vilmark, "The magic is back. You brought it back with you."
Vilmark's win in the “Clashback” round allowed him to face Tawi-tawi's Renz Fernando, the Clasher in the danger zone, in “Matira in Matibay” where the Kapampangan engineer was declared the “Top of the Clash.”
This led Vilmark to automatically earn a spot in the Final 6, together with Mauie Francisco, Julia Serad, Mariane Osabel, Lovely Restiututo, and Rare Columna, and advance to the finale.
The Clash 2021's finale will air this weekend, December 18 and 19, on GMA.
