The Clash Season 4 finalist Vilmark Viray remains an inspiration even after his stint in the Kapuso singing competition.
The Pampanga-native continues to work as a full-time engineer while managing his singing career.
Vilmark has recently joined GMA's roster of talents and is under Sparkle GMA Artist Center's latest group of Kapuso stars.
During an interview with GMANetork.com, Vilmark shared his advice for Filipinos struggling to find time to pursue their passions while maintaining a full-time job or studies.
He said, "First of all siguro, you should really ask yourself if you really want it. Kasi ako gusto ko talaga. Sabihin natin na maraming hindrances along the way but if you really want it gagawa ka ng paraan."
"Importante rin 'yung time management especially if you're working full-time. You need to manage your time kasi parehas silang kakain ng oras mo. Katulad ko, 'yung shift ko is 12 hours. Iniisip ko kung ano 'yung gagawin ko doon sa natitira kong 12 hours, kailangan ko ba mag-practice para ma-improve 'yung craft ko," the Kapuso singer explained.
"If you really want it, find time para maging successful ka doon sa gusto mong gawin."
Vilmark was initially eliminated during his stint on The Clash but made it back during a wild card round called The Clashback. He emerged as the first runner-up of the show, with Mariane Osabel as the grand champion. He is also a current mainstay of the weekly musical variety show, All-Out Sundays.
