The gala dinner welcomed over 150 distinguished guests from around the world, including nearly 20 ambassadors from countries such as Morocco, Egypt, Qatar, South Korea, Brazil, Greece, Pakistan, Malaysia, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic.

Also in attendance were Philippine officials - secretaries, governors, the mayor of Manila - as well as business leaders, family, celebrities and close friends.
The evening opened with a heartfelt speech by the publisher of the book, Riza Hansen, who spoke of Singson's immense role in reshaping Philippine political history.
Hansen announced the ambitious plan to translate the book into 15 languages and promote it in 20 countries to bring Chavit's inspiring story to the global stage.
An Arabic translation is already underway, aiming to make the book accessible to over 5 billion people worldwide.

A very dear friend of Chavit Singson, chemist-philanthropist Pinky Tobiano, introduced Singson at the start of the event.
Daughter of Singson, Rep. Richelle Singson of party list AKo Ilokano, offered a toast to all those present and celebrated the launch.
“Chavit: Legend of the Philippines” is written by Polish author Maciej Mikurda, who admitted that one of the biggest challenges for him was compressing Singson's rich and colorful life into a single volume.
The ambitious endeavor includes organizing book launches in 20 world capitals across six continents.
Chavit's daughter, AKO Ilokano Partylist Rep. Richelle Singson expressed her gratitude to the guests who showed up at her father's book launch.
In his speech, Singson encouraged generosity, mutual respect and compassion. He stressed that experience is life's greatest teacher and expressed his desire to pass on his hard-earned wisdom to the younger generation. He said that a pivotal lesson he wishes readers to glean from the book, particularly his role in Philippine politics.
The evening concluded with Chavit personally signing the book for over two hours, warmly engaging with each guest.
