'My Ilonggo Girl' star Vince Maristela on being a brand ambassador-model of a clothing brand: “It's more than just representing a brand. It's about embodying confidence.”

Sparkle actor Vince Maristela is off to a great start this 2025.

He is currently part of the high rating GMA Prime mini-series My Ilonggo Girl, playing the second leading man of Jillian Ward named Jampol.

And now, it was finally confirmed that the Kapuso hunk is one of the newest brand ambassadors of local clothing giant Penshoppe.

In a quick chat with GMANetwork.com, Vince expressed his excitement of this new milestone in his career.

“Being part of Penshoppe is an incredible experience. It's more than just representing a brand. It's about embodying confidence, style, and authenticity. Penshoppe has always been a brand that resonates with individuality and creativity, so being part of that journey feels both exciting and rewarding.

“I love how the brand empowers people to express themselves through fashion, and I'm honored to be a part of that movement.”

What was it like seeing yourself for the first time in Penshoppe's ad campaign materials?

“Seeing myself in Penshoppe stores for the first time was a surreal moment for me, it felt both exciting and humbling.” Vince stated.

He added, “I couldn't help but think about the journey that led me here, all the hard work, and the people who've supported me along the way. It was a proud moment, but also a reminder to keep pushing forward and inspiring others to chase their dreams."

Prior to shooting his campaign for Penshoppe, Vince revealed that he had to stay focused and remain consistent with his workout. He also made sure to get enough rest before the pictorial to bring the best energy on the set.

“On the day itself, I just focused on having fun, being in the moment, and letting my personality shine through the camera.”

Meanwhile, the mini-series My Ilonggo Girl is continuing to deliver strong TV ratings on primetime since its world premiere on January 13.

Vince told GMANetwork.com that the success of their show can be attributed to the hard work of the entire team, especially those involved in the production and creative side.

“I'm incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support and love for the show. Seeing the high ratings is truly rewarding, but more than that, it's knowing that people are enjoying and connecting with the story.

“This wouldn't be possible without the hard work of the entire team--my co-stars, the production crew, and everyone behind the scenes who bring this project to life. Thank you to the viewers for tuning in and making this such a success! We have more exciting things coming, so stay tuned!”
