Voltes V: Legacy stars had the opportunity to witness the highly-anticipated series' computer-generated imagery (CGI) and sound design work of GMA Post Production and Audio Post Production ahead of its release in 2023.
Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, Radson Flores, Raphael Landicho, Martin Del Rosario, and Liezel Lopez joined forces and headed out on GMA Network Center to see a glimpse of what they have been working on for years, together with Voltes V: Legacy director Mark Ryes.
"Guess who shrieked and cried," asked the director after getting a sneak peek of the upcoming live-action adaptation series of the popular Japanese anime, Voltes V.
Matt Lozano wasn't able to make it because of work but his co-star Raphael Landicho, his younger brother in the series, gave him a preliminary reaction about the editing of Voltes V: Legacy.
"Sayang wala ka po kuya big bert! @mattlozanomusic sobra ganda po nakakaiyak sa ganda po. miss ka na po namin!" Raphael wrote in the comments.
In a separate post, Mark has also expressed his commendation to GMA's in-house audio post production facility for its "awesome sound design and musical scoring for Voltes: Legacy."
Mark can't help but felt proud of the outcome of their hard work for Voltes: Legacy which he deemed as his passion project.
"We can't wait for you to see and hear the much-awaited Volt-In sequence and what the ultra-electromagnetic energy wave sounds like," he added.
Voltes: Legacy, written by Suzette Doctolero, bears the potential of being the Philippines' first serious epic sci-fi TV show as it is partnered with Toei Company, Ltd., the same company that brought the robot saga to life, and Telesuccess Productions, Inc. The network also engaged the services of Riot Inc. Post-Production along with GMA Post Video graphics to handle the CGI and the live-action elements of the stories.
