
It seems like Voltes V singer Mitsuko Horie is also transported back in time after gazing upon the newest trailer of GMA Network's live-action adaptation of the popular Japanese anime.
On Twitter, the 63-year-old Japanese icon commented on the newest trailer and said how it makes her want to sing “Voltes V no Uta,” the opening theme song of the robot anime, once more.
She wrote in Japanese, “It seems like the popular 'Voltes V' is still evolving in the Philippines! It looks amazing!
“Watching it makes you want to sing again. And above all, I am glad that everyone in the Philippines loves it and loves me!”

The comments section of Mitsuko Horie's tweet was filled to the brim by both Filipino and Japanese fans saying how the song remains one of the most iconic opening themes in history.

Mitsuko Horie is a popular Japanese actress, voice actress, and singer. She has voiced several characters throughout her career, including Sailor Galaxia in Sailor Moon: Sailor Stars and Remi in Remi, Nobody's Girl.
With the recent release of the trailer, Voltes V: Legacy continues to raise anticipation among fans.
As of this writing, no cast has been confirmed to play the roles of Steve, Big Bert, and Little Jon Armstrong, and their friends Jamie Robinson and Mark Gordon.
