Hindi sa Encantadia matatapos ang paggawa ng remakes ng Kapuso teleseryes. Sa katunayan, ang iconic telefantasya ang dahilan kung bakit napagdesisyunan ng GMA ETV executives na sundan ito ng iba pang remake.

Sa naganap na press conference ng GMA Entertainment TV Drama group noong nakaraang linggo, ibinahagi ni Vice President for Drama Redgie A. Magno ang naging basehan ng desisyon nilang gawin ang remakes ng Mulawin at Impostora ngayong 2017.

"After the success of Encantadia, we thought of also doing another remake of the successful shows in the past. Like Mulawin, level up siya. Hindi lang siya Mulawin, now it's Mulawin vs Ravena. Impostora naman, of course there's a new artist, a different one, so mayroon din siyang ibang atake on the role. We want to revive those successful titles."

Ang Mulawin versus Ravena ay pagibibidahan nina Dennis Trillo, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Miguel Tanfelix, Bianca Umali, Derrick Monasterio, at Bea Binene. Tatlong magkakaibang roles naman ang bibigyang buhay ni Kris Bernal sa Impostora.
