VXON Patrick and Kakai Almeda definitely brought kilig to the pilot episode of Stars on the Floor. That two have good chemistry and it showed on the stage.

In an online exclusive, Patrick and Kakai looked back on their first encounter during the rehearsals for the dance show and shared their first impressions of each other.

"Kinakabahan ako sa kaniya kasi parang nakaka-intimidate siya tignan kasi P-pop guy. Parang P-pop, lagi talaga silang siyempre performing, talagang kasama na sa P-pop 'yung performing," Kakai shared.

She revealed that she had promised herself to do her best, since it had been a long time since she performed in front of a large audience.

Although she was intimidated at first, she said, "Pero nagulat ako, ang bait niya at tsaka 'yung itsura niya parang ang cool lang ng dating."

Meanwhile, Patrick revealed that he had been seeing Kakai on TikTok, so he was already somewhat familiar with her.

"Ako naman kay Kai, noong una kasi diba nasabi ko na nakikita ko na siya sa TikTok, so parang first impression ko sa kaniya, parang mabait," he shared.

He admitted that he researched about Kakai online before their rehearsal to know more about her background.

"Pero 'yung first impression ko sa kaniya, mabait at tsaka 'yung mukha niya kasi very bata, alam mo mabait siya talaga tingnan," the P-pop star added.

In the pilot episode, Patrick and Kakai performed a remix of Dionela's "Marilag."

Fans quickly picked up on their natural chemistry, and even the host and dance authorities could not help but feel the kilig too.

Patrick is the main dancer of the P-pop group VXON and one of the celebrity dance stars on Stars on the Floor.

Meanwhile, Kakai is one of the digital dance stars. She is known for her viral treadmill dance covers on TikTok.
