Mauricio Sa isang exclusive interview with Showbiz Central 's Raymond Gutierrez ay nalaman from Regine Velasquez and Kuh Ledesma na matagal na pala itong concert na Divas 4 Divas plinaplano, to be exact, four-and-a-half years na pala. "Lahat kami may trabaho di ba? And also especially, itong babae sa tabi ko (pointing to Regine) she's such a busy, busy television personality, she makes movies. Kaya we had to wait for her actually (Regine laughs), oo, ikaw may kasalanan! But everything comes at a perfect time, [and] I think this is the most perfect time for this," ang explanation ni Kuh. It was also learned that the concert, where they would also perform with Pops Fernandez and Zsa Zsa Padilla was an idea hatched by Kuh. Kwento ni Regine, "Yes, idea niya talaga ito kasi she has done concerts with me, with Pops [and] with Zsa Zsa . So sabi niya, ‘Bakit hindi natin pagsama-samahin?' Kasi mahilig siya ng ganyan eh." Tinanong din ni Raymond kung hindi ba sila na-iintriga dahil the four biggest names in the music industry magsasama-sama dito, especially tungkol sa billing. However, both Regine and Kuh dismissed any of this, and even cracked jokes about it. "Basta ako, ako lang mag-isa sa dressing room ko, 'tsaka may ref ako!" ang lokong pasabi ni Regine. At madali namang sinagot ni Kuh, "Since mag-isa ka, yung pinakamaliit sa iyo sige! Tatlo kami dun sa malaki!" Regine describes their collaboration as a fun one. "Pictorial pa lang ang gulo-gulo [namin]. Parang kaming mga bata actually." At nagbigay din siya ng update kung ano na ang kanilang ginagawa. "We've been preparing actually. Nasa stage pa lang naman kami na aaralin pa namin yung mga songs. Usually talagang ang rehearsal ay two weeks before [or] a week before the concert." "Lahat kami magigiging seksi doon. Super-duper! Oo, grabe. Losing weight kami lahat. Di na kami kumakain! Were making a lot of sacrifices for this show because a lot of people are expecting a lot. And it's a milestone in our career. Its the first time in Philippine history that we are all coming together and we want give our audience the best," ang kwento ni Kuh sa kaninlang pagsasama. Si Regine naman ay obviously excited na sa kanilang concert at nagbigay ng kaunting hint as to what is in store. "Expect really good music, fantastic costumes, and don't forget I will have a dance production number. I am such a great dancer, so you have to watch out for that, I have liftings! (laughs).
