
The stars of the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga were elated about the relationship it has forged with GMA-7, which will continue more years after the program renewed its contract with the network.
EXCLUSIVE: 'Eat Bulaga' extends ties with the Kapuso network!
In an exclusive chat with GMANetwork.com, Pauleen Luna said that the contract renewal is a proof of GMA-7 and Eat Bulaga's 'good working' relationship.
She said, “Nakakatuwa because it just goes to show that we have a good working relationship and ako honestly I think not only working pati 'yung personal relationship ng GMA with Eat Bulaga is doing good,”
The Phenomenal star Maine Mendoza is equally happy about Eat Bulaga staying with the Kapuso Network.
“Masaya, masaya. Pero higit sa lahat, ako ay talagang maligaya dahil parte pa rin ang mga Dabarkads.
For his part, Pambansang Bae Alden Richards expressed his immense gratitude for the longest-running noontime show for making him one of their regular hosts.
He added that he couldn't imagine his life without Eat Bulaga.
“Dream come true para sa akin na maging part ng Dabarkads, siguro for three years turning four 'yung buhay ko po talaga umiikot sa show. Every morning, every day from Mondays to Saturdays 'yun na 'yung routine ko.
“From bahay, 'pag hindi ako naggi-gym, diretso na ako sa Eat Bulaga.
“So, hindi ko nai-imagine 'yung buhay ko na hindi ginagawa 'yung Eat Bulaga araw-araw. Sobrang thankful po ako.”

Meanwhile, the king of makeup transformation Paolo Ballesteros talked about how their show evolved through the years--from just being a noontime show to a public-service program.
“I've been with Eat Bulaga since 2001, so mashugal na rin ako [giggles] sa Bulaga.
“Gaya ng sinabi ko kanina na ano siya eh nag-e-evolve from variety show tapos tumutulong sa mga dabarkads natin tapos we also have mga scholars.
“Ang sarap lang isipin, alam mo 'yun. So, sana 'yung patuloy na sumusuporta na nonood samahan nila kami din na i-witness kung saan pa ba maggo-grow itong Eat Bulaga.”
On the other hand, talented comedian-host Wally Bayola expressed appreciation to loyal dabarkads who stayed with them for four decades.
“Ay kami nagpapasalamat at hindi lang basta salita siguro, nagagawa 'yung pasalamat namin.
“Nawa'y hanggang sa dulo nang walang hanggan walang iwanan Kapuso tayo lahat dabarkads.”
Speaking of Eat Bulaga's 40th anniversary, Alden Richards also revealed some details of their plans to celebrate this huge milestone.
“Yes, kami rin po pinaghahandaan po talaga namin.
“It will be big and it is something special for the dabarkads, especially sa mga sumuporta sa amin.
“Especially sa Eat Bulaga, sumuporta sa Eat Bulaga for almost 40 years it will be a treat for them.”
