The whole universe watched the crowning of the new queen after Iris Mittenaere of France won the 2016 Miss Universe pageant held at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City yesterday, January 30.
Iris who is a native of Lille and is currently studying dental surgery in college is the second French woman, after Christiane Martel who won the prestigious title in 1953.
