Opisyal nang ipinakilala ang 40 kandidata na kalahok sa Miss World Philippines 2018 pageant sa Press Presentation sa Resorts World Manila kahapon, September 13.

Sinalubong ng palakpakan at hiyawan ang mga naggagandahang binibini suot ang kanilang swimwear at official Miss World Philippines merchandise.

Beauty with a Purpose ang charity ng kanilang sinasalihang beauty pageant kaya may kanya-kanyang mga advocacies ang mga lumahok.

“Charity that works with abuse, neglected, and abandoned children so I'm working with them to empower these children,” saad ni Alyssa Muhlach Alvarez sa report ni Lhar Santiago sa 24 Oras.

Ayon naman kay Maureen Montagne, “We're working with a lot of kids, making sure they get enough school supplies, whether it be printers, computers, umbrellas, backpacks.”

Patuloy naman ang laban ni Miss Intercontinental 2017 First Runner-up Katrina Rodriguez sa pagsulong ng kanyang adbokasiya, “I'm focusing on the young women of Marawi who are actually mentally abused. I'm meeting with the DSWD (Department of Social Welfare and Development) in Marawi to see what I can do to help.”

Present sa event ang mga bagong Kapuso stars na sina Miss Eco International 2018 Thia Thomalla at Miss Multinational 2018 Sophia Senoron.

Magpapakitang gilas ang pitong nanguna sa talent competition sa Gala Night sa October 2 at gaganapin naman ang grand coronation night sa October 7 sa Mall of Asia Arena.
