Sa recent episode ng Tonight with Arnold Clavio, guests ang mag-asawang Patricia Javier at Dr. Robert Walcher.

Ibinahagi ng dalawa kung paano naging matatag ang kanilang pagsasama matapos ang 13 taon mula ng sila'y ikasal. Ikinuwento ni Dr. Robert kung ano ang natutunan niya sa kanilang pagsasama.

Aniya, “Patience is everything, especially when you're dealing with another culture, another language. You must have patience, always compromise, be respectful of other's feelings.”

Ibinahagi niya rin kung anong klaseng asawa at ina si Patricia.

“She's amazing, she's very attentive, takes care of the kids. When we were in the U.S. she was the typical mom taking the kids to their Karate lessons, to school. She went to beauty school, she became an American citizen, she did a lot of things in 10 years, she's extremely productive. I'm very proud of her.”

Ibinahagi rin naman ni Patricia kung bakit tumagal nang mahigit isang dekada ang kanilang kasal.

“Siguro ang masasabi ko, 'yung faith muna. We have the same God, we pray together. 'Yun 'yung pinaka nagpapa-strong sa family namin. At the same time, yung give and take. Rob is very supportive sa akin, kapag meron akong project, sasabihin ko lang sa kaniya, hindi siya nagseselos.”

Dagdag niya, “Sa kaniya, ganun din ako. Kung ano 'yung gusto ni doc, I support him with that. Nakita ko na sobrang hands-on ng asawa ko sa mga anak ko.”

Kuwento ni Patricia, naging mas maayos ang kaniyang buhay matapos makilala ang asawa, “Doc Rob, you're the greatest gift from God aside from our kids, because of you my life has changed. I'm in a better place when I'm with you. And you're my home.

Mensahe naman ni Dr. Rob para sa asawa, “Thank you so much for going on this journey with me, and I'm so proud of you, and the woman that you are, the woman you've become, and for being such a great mom and wife. Thank you so much.”
