Armida Siguion-Reyes was "fierce, maldita, naughty, masungit, mataray" but also "very generous ,kind, loving, caring, and she forgave people easily."

That's how theater actress Cris Villonco described her grandmother, Armida Siguion-Reyna, who passed away last February 11.
Cris added that her Lola Mitz is strict and she can't even get away with it.
"Pagpasok ko sa recording studio at alam na alam niya na hindi ko alam yung kanta, sasabihin niya, 'Umuwi ka. Mag-aral ka.' So I wasn't spared even as a granddaughter," she said.
For director Bibeth Orteza, Armida's daughter-in-law, Tita Mitz's greatest legacy was "fight for the freedom of expression and continuing respect for Filipino music."
