For the Filipinos out there who love Japanese food, a restaurant from Tokyo brought a branch here in Manila just to serve you delicious Katsudon dishes!
In this episode of Taste MNL, Arra San Agustin savored authentic Japanese Katsudon in Fumizen where she tried three best-sellers: Rosu Katsu for PhP375.00, Prawn Tonkatsu for PhP475.00, and Menchi Katsu for PhP350.00.
The foodie host definitely enjoyed her “Tikiman Time” with those delectable dishes, especially with truffle salt.
According to Arra, “Whoever invented the truffle salt combined with the sauce and the Katsudon is a genius.”
Nevertheless, she has to conclude which of the three is the Yum, Yummier, and Yummiest!
“My Yum is the Menchi Katsu. It's really good with the truffle salt and the sauce and the ground beef is very fresh. It's tasty!
“The top 2, the Yummier one, is Rosu Katsu set which is the loin.
“And my top 1, the Yummiest, would be the Prawn Tonkatsu. Grabe yung prawns, na-impress ako sa thickness and how huge it was.
“And it's really good with the truffle salt and the sauce. Perfect,” she said.
Fumizen Japanese Restaurant is located at 34, Sgt. Esguerra Ave., Diliman, Quezon City.
