As if Bae-by Baste's unadulterated gift of entertainment doesn't manifest enough, the youngest dabarkad continues to impress as he continued singing a cappella following a technical problem in a public event.
Bae-by Baste was invited to perform at the relaunch of the 'Christmas on Display' in Araneta Center, Cubao where he sang Christmas carols to a large audience. The music accompaniment died out in the middle of his number but the unfazed six-year-old just continued singing and he never went off-key nor out of timing.
His composure and confidence drove his number one fan, his Mommy Sheila to cry tears of pride and joy.
Baste's mom recounted the incident on his Instagram account, saying, “A tear fell as I continued singing very loudly for him to hear me... and shouted 'don't stop dong, don't stop!!' Baste: 'thank you po sa pagsabay kanta sakin, nawala kasi yung music eh.' I love you dong and good job ka!!!!!!”
“My Baste, in everything you do, kada lingon mo andito lang ako... yun ang hinding-hinding-hindi magbabago. Alam kong may mga pagkakamali sa bawat daan, wag mag alala dahil pagsubok lang yan. Basta tatandaan mo lang aking dodong, papalakpakan kita kahit may problema sa pinili nating song. Maraming salamat sa mga nakikanta kay Baste,” she added.
