Suzy's career

Born on October 10, 1994, Suzy was thrust into the spotlight as a former member of Miss A under JYP Entertainment.

She is now being handled by Management Soop, which also manages the career of Gong Yoo and Nam Joo-hyuk.

This beauty also earned the monikers "First Nation's Love" and "CF Queen."

In addition, the Korean superstar is a muse of luxury brand Dior.

Suzy Bae has several TV drama series under her belt, which include While You Were Sleeping (2017), Vagabond (2019), and Start-Up (2020).

It was the latter that catapulted her to new heights, since the romcom Netflix series proved to be a major hit.

Start-Up revolves around the story of Seo Dal-mi (portrayed by Bae Suzy), a young woman who dreams of becoming a CEO.

Her 2011 project, Dream High was a memorable one for her, too.

In her exclusive interview with 'Elle' Korea, she mentioned that Dream High was special for her because the director “scolded her a lot.”

Suzy recalled, “My acting skills were lacking, so I was really not satisfied, but it turned out to be an important opportunity in my life."
