Even though they are not a couple, DerBie displays a lot of chemistry as a love team.

Kapuso stars Barbie Forteza and Derrick Monasterio admitted in an interview that their relationship in real life is just like what their Almost a Love Story characters have.

Even though they are not a couple, DerBie displays a lot of chemistry on television as a love team. They said it’s because they have been friends for a very long time now.

Derrick said he didn’t force his emotions while filming the movie, “Ang ginagawa ko lang is sinasabi ko ‘yung lines, nilalagyan ko ng emotions, tinitingnan ko ang mata niya, and binabalik ko lang lahat na mga experiences namin before.”

According to the cast, they play relatable roles in the romantic film shot in Italy.

Almost a Love Story will be showing on April 11 (Wednesday) in all cinemas nationwide.
