On the other hand, the beauty queen shared why she became emotional during her final walk in the 2019 Miss Universe pageant.

“I'm very very flattered po. 'Cause I always wanted to give my best, not only for my country but also in the position I was given as the Miss Universe,” Catriona said.

“I always wanted to really give my best and if that was setting the standards higher, I feel like there are women out there who are very, very capable of reaching that or even exceeding that,” she added.

Meanwhile, Catriona also expressed her joy over Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados's performance at the recently concluded prestigious pageant, and for bringing home the Best National Costume award.

Gazini Ganados actually won the Miss Universe National Costume competition

Aside from her singing career, she will also be focusing on her advocacies from this point forward.
