Dion Ignacio posted short guitar covers on his Instagram account!
Dion’s love for rhythm guitar is well-known to his fans, the actor-musician even plays for rock band Philia. In a previous interview with GMAnetwork.com, the guitarist elaborated, “Sobrang passion ko rin ‘yung paggigitara, ‘yung music. Off-cam, naggigitara ako sa band na Philia. Metal po iyon!”
Dion can also be seen practicing whenever he has time. The Marimar star even plays during taping breaks!
His covers range from acoustic to rock. Here, he performs a rendition of Dishwalla's 'Every Little Thing,' with a little help from RoadVoice Band's lead guitarist Rafael Berdida.
The StarStruck alumnus also jams along Creed's 'What If' and Lamb of God's 'Laid to Rest.'
His guitar-playing roots can be traced way back during his teen years, "High school pa lang ako tumutugtog na ako ng gitara.” Additionally, he once admitted that "strumming the strings has always been his passion."
