Emma Tiglao is aiming to bring home the coveted Miss Intercontinental 2019 crown.
The Philippines's bet for Miss Intercontinental 2019 Emma Tiglao already flew off to Egypt, Wednesday, December 4.
Emma was all smiles wearing a burnt orange modern terno with over-sized butterfly sleeves during her send-off.
On Instagram, the beauty said that it took her ten long years to finally have the chance to represent the country in a prestigious beauty competition.
“Kay tagal kitang hinintay, para ika'y mawagayway. Sampung taon ang iginugol,” she wrote.
The Pampanga's pride also shared the struggles she went through just to get to where she is now.
“Pagod, hirap, sakit ang pinagdaanan pero hindi ako sumuko. Sapagkat alam ko ang dahilan bakit kita sinimulan, kung bakit kita minahal,” the beauty queen stressed.
Emma also proudly exclaimed that it will always be her honor to represent the country abroad.
“Ikaw ay aking buong pusong ipagmamalaki sa kahit ano mang kontinente mapunta dahil alam ko kahit nasaan man ako milyon-milyong tao ang walang sawang sumusuporta at nagmamahal. Laban Pilipinas!” she said.
The Miss Intercontinental 2019 pageant in Egypt is happening on December 20.
Emma is eyeing for a back-to-back win after the Philippines's Karen Gallman won the title last January.
