'Game of Thrones' actor and 2018 World's Strongest Man Hafthor Bjornsson sets a new deadlift record of 501 kg or 1,104 lbs.

On top of portraying one of the most iconic characters in Game of Thrones, Icelandic actor Hafthor Bjornsson also holds the 2018 World's Strongest Man title.

On May 3, Hafthor set a new world record as he broke a deadlift world record by hoisting a whopping 501 kilograms or 1,104 pounds.

The lockdown has not stopped the actor from setting this record and prove that he still has the power to be called the strongest man in the world from his home gym in Iceland.

The 2018 World's Strongest Man event took place in the Philippines where Hafthor bested out several strong and muscular people from around the world.
