The all-new online music show Spotlight Music Sessions featured Gel Aquino as she performed her original song "Ang Nais Ko” on Friday, August 25.
In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, the singer-songwriter described her single as "pang-brokenhearted."
"Itong song na 'to, para 'to sa mga nasaktan, niloko, na-trauma sa pag-ibig," she said.
According to Gel, her fans and listeners are the ones who inspire her to create more good music.
“Yung ibang tao. Sila yung inspirasyon ko sa pagsulat para kapag narinig nila yung song makaka-relate sila at sasabihin nila na 'this is my story,'” she explained.
