Sa thanksgiving party ng Rainbow's Sunset, sinabi ni Gloria na masaya siya sa nakuhang tropeo at wala pa siyang balak tumigil sa pag-aartista.
“Of course I'm very happy. After all these years, at the age of 85, nakatanggap pa ako ng award. I owe this to my director, to our producer, and to my co-actors,” ani Gloria.
Ayon sa kanya, nag-e-enjoy pa siya tuwing nasa shooting siya ng weekly drama fantasy anthology na Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko kaya't wala pa siyang balak magretiro sa showbiz.
“The moment na hindi na ako makapag-memorize, magre-retire na ako.”
