“Welcome home,” says Claudine Barretto on her Instagram video that shows her sister Gretchen Barretto being reunited with their mom at their father's wake.
Gretchen Barretto was reunited with her family as she visited the wake of her father, Miguel Barretto.
In the video, Gretchen, accompanied by her younger sister Claudine, is seen slowly walking towards her dad's coffin.
She was given a warm hug by her mother, Estrella “Inday” Barretto.
This touching moment was witnessed by President Rodrigo Duterte, who paid his respects to the Barretto family's patriarch last night.

Meanwhile, Claudine share the emotional moment on her Instagram earlier, October 17.
“And then, We are Complete,” Claudine wrote on her caption.
She also said about her sister, “@gretchenbarretto im so Proud of u.I admire & luv u more today #doubleinfinity #thatsmyAte WELCOME HOME [heart emojis]”
Marjorie Barretto pens heartfelt farewell to deceased father
Gretchen became estranged with her family following a misunderstanding in 2013.
At that time, she sided with Claudine's estranged husband, Raymart Santiago, over alleged drug use of the former.
This also resulted to a split in Barretto family--Gretchen's siblings Mito, Joaquin, Michelle, and Marjorie joined her side; while their parents, Miguel and Estrella, defended their youngest daughter.
Gretchen and Claudine have settled their difference earlier this year.
Many were also touched by the heartwarming reunion of Gretchen with her family.
