In a video uploaded by Heart Evangelista's makeup artist, Albert Kurniawan, she went on a trip down memory lane to disclose how she began as a teen star and how she transitioned into one of the iconic personalities in her generation.

Heart revealed that her family does not initially approve her dream of entering showbiz. She said, “I remember before, hindi rin ako pinapayagan mag-artista ng family ko. But I proved to my dad that I really wanted to do this.”

Heart went on to reveal the amount she was earning back then and what people would call her.

“My suweldo I remember at that time was three thousand pesos a day. Sobrang naaartehan sila sa akin kasi maarte naman talaga ako and my suweldo was three thousand pesos. Until naging regular ako... Then my dad started to see na I was serious with my career.”

Heart also dished out some well-meaning advice that if you want something, you have to prove that you can do it, "not to anyone but yourself."
