Heart Evangelista narrated the roller coaster ride she experienced from her career and personal life in 2018.

“The highs and lows of this year felt extreme. I felt like flying towards the highest skies of the earth to hitting rock bottom,” sayid Heart on her new vlog published on her YouTube channel on December 31.

The Kapuso star looked back at the time she lost her baby and admitted going through depression.

She said, “On June 2018, I lost my baby and in one moment the absence of a heartbeat on the monitor, my world collapsed.

“I think nothing can explain the way a mother feels when she loses her baby.

“I entered a depression so deep I began to feel like I wasn't myself and my world just stopped.”

After dealing with pain and moving on, Heart experienced the highest point of her career.

“Like a real roller coaster ride, the lowest dip was followed by the highest peak.

“I went to France to attend Paris Fashion Week and shoot a story for Harper's Bazaar US.

“And then came my website, where I opened up and shared a deeper part of me; more than just the Heart you see on my Instagram.

“And then this, my YouTube channel where I get to do one of the things I love to do the most--connect with people.”

Through all the good and the bad that Heart experienced, she's hopeful for the future.

She said, “I say thank you to 2018, you brought the most difficult challenge in my life, but also brought in so much goodness and positivity to which my heart is infinitely grateful for.

“Now to 2019, I pray you're kind and I can't wait for what you have in store for me.”
