
Man of Steel and Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice's Superman Henry Cavill has landed in Manila yesterday, December 12.
Henry visits Manila to promote his upcoming series The Witcher which premiers on Netflix on December 20.
The Witcher is an eight-episode Netflix series based upon Polish writer Andrzej Sapowski's novel series about Geralt of Rivia, to be portrayed by Henry, which is a superhuman warrior hunting down monsters for money better known as witcher.
“I think there are probably some similarities between myself and Geralt,” said Henry.
He added, “I definitely associate with him and that's just because I've been inside his head for eight books, and you do get a better relationship with these characters.”
Henry also shared that he really prepared himself for the role from extensive workout down to countless sword fighting trainings.
“I have been a fan of fantasy genre and role playing games, much like The Witcher 3, for many many years ever since I was a boy,” the Hollywood actor said.
“So all of my preparations for the role happened at my free time.”
It's not the first time Henry's going to do action.
Prior to this, the actor have starred in movies The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and Mission Impossible: Fallout.
