
Former First Lady Imelda Marcos's documentary film “The King Maker” was screened at Cultural Central of the Philippines yesterday, January 30.
The film follows the story of Imelda's contribution during former President Ferdinand Marcos's presidency in 1965 until 1986.
It has also tackled the former first lady's efforts in bringing his son, Ferdinand "Bongbong" Romualdez Marcos Jr., to the highest position in the country.
Overall, the film is about the in-depth documentary of the legacy left behind by the Marcos's regime, the dynasty that lasted for more than two decades.
“The King Maker” was directed by the Emmy-winning director Lauren Greenfield.
