Cinemalaya veteran Benjamin Alves pairs up with Janine Gutierrez for this year's Cinemalaya entry "Dagsin" or "Gravity."

It is a period film that explores the life of Benjamin and Janine's characters Justino and Corazon. The story takes its audience throughout different decades of Philippine history to find out what happened to Justino and Corazon during the Japanese occupation and Martial Law.

Aside from Benjamin and Janine, the cast is rounded out by the brilliant talents in Lotlot de Leon, Tommy Abuel, Sue Pardo, Marita Zobel, and Alex Diaz.
