Jennylyn seems to relate the most with her "English Only, Please" character Tere Madlangsacay. She said, "Kasi magaan lang siya, meron siyang funny side. Tapos for a time medyo bitter ako sa love, 'yung ganun. 'Di ba parang lahat dumadating [doon] pag may break up, tapos bitter ka. Parang ayaw mo na, ayaw mo na sa lahat. 'Oh, di nga? Parang feeling mo lahat niloloko ka, ganun."
She also noted how the Kapuso pyshological suspense series Rhodora X challenged her mettle as an actress.
"May sakit siyang identity disorder, meron siyang three personalities. Sobrang hirap siya kasi sa isang eksena parang tatlo 'yung nagpa-pop out na character na walang cut, na parang ginagawa ko lang siya ng sabay-sabay," she recalled.
