On August 13, Juicebox band performed their original composition "Home" in the online music show Spotlight Music Sessions.
After releasing their debut single "Future" in May 2018, Juicebox has since performed on big stages like the Red Ninja Years 9 & 10 Fest and represented the country at the Hong Kong Pacific Youth Band Sound Competition in 2019.
According to Juicebox, their song "Home" has two perspectives, a long distance relationship and broken friendship. The fear and sadness we feel upon experiencing these things.
"Home" was written by Enzo Hermosa and Luis Abellar.
"It started with a rough, laid-back demo from Enzo. We wanted it to be a chill, steady song which goes well with the vibe of the main riff. Then it eventually evolved into this track that starts off laid-back and ends with sounding guitar solos," Juicebox wrote.
Last August 6, Juicebox also performed their original composition "I Want You To Know" on Spotlight Music Sessions.
Juicebox, formerly JCBX, is a four-piece indie rock band based in Marikina City. The band comprises Enzo Hermosa on vocals/rhythm guitar, Joe Salcedo on lead guitar, Luis Abellar on bass, and Paulo Agudelo on drums and vocals.
They named themselves Juicebox after a 2005 single by The Strokes.
