For several weeks now, the news has been dominated by showbiz personalities caught by police in several buy-bust operation.
Some of these personalities that has been on the headlines are DJ Karen Bordador, sexy starlet Sabrina M, Krista Miller, and most recently former Gwapings star Mark Anthony Fernandez.
Queen of All Media Kris Aquino was asked to give her take on the drug controversy involving several Pinoy artists.
The celebrity mom advised people who are involved in drugs to voluntarily submit themselves in a rehabilitation center immediately.
She explained, “If you're still into it, my God naman matuto ka na. Stop it! And voluntarily, dalhin mo na... You can afford to buy it eh. So, dalhin mo na sarili mo sa rehab.”
In an interview with NCRPO director Chief Superintendent Oscar Albayalde, he revealed that a total of 54 celebrities have been included in their updated drug list. He, however, declined to reveal the names of these people because they are still validating the information.
Albayalde said, "Every time we make arrests, more names are being included because they were all telling us the persons they transact with."
