After months of speculation, Kris Aquino finally confirmed that she will be part of the film adaptation of the bestselling book 'Crazy Rich Asians.'

The Queen of All Media made the announcement on her Instagram account today, August 18.
"Thank you @kevinkwanbooks for CONFIRMING my role in #CRAZYRICHASIANS! THANK YOU for the kind words you had to say "I have a soft spot for her... She is Kris Aquino, what else is there to say?..." Most of all THANK YOU for loving the [Philippines] and Filipinos. The feeling is definitely reciprocal!" she stated in the caption.
One of her followers was quick to point out that she might play the roles of Felicity, Feona or Eleanor, but Kris said that it isn't any of the three characters.
'Crazy Rich Asians' author Kevin Kwan is presently in the country for a book tour.
