Lea Salonga's 40th anniversary concert has been made more special as she did a duet with the original actor of Chris in Miss Saigon, Simon Bowman.
Markki Stroem attended Lea's celebration and was able to capture on video the special number shared by the two original cast members of Miss Saigon. Lea and Simon sang 'Sun and Moon' as popularized by the West End musical.
According to Markki, he found himself still in awe of Lea's performance despite attending her technical dress rehearsals a few days ago.
He said, “It was nothing short of spectacular. This particular song holds a special place in my heart! Simon Bowman, the original Chris from Miss Saigon and Lea performed “Sun and Moon” right in front of all our teary eyed, fan-mode faces. The magic of the theater is real!”
