Megan Young learns a new word from hubby Mikael Daez and hates it immediately.
Kapuso actor and host Mikael Daez shared a funny exchange between him and his actress and beauty queen wife Megan Young.
In a short Instagram video, Mikael is seen speaking to Megan who is in pain and lying in bed.
"This is Bones and sobrang lala ng impatso niya," says Mikael,
"Stop it. It hurts when you laugh," Megan admonishes him.
Mikael then informed her that the condition is called "impatso" in Tagalog.
"Wait, you really didn't know it was called impatso?" he asks laughing.
"No. That's why I just called it indigestion. That's it," Megan answers, groaning before saying that she hates the sound of the word.
"I didn't know it was called impatso. This word, I don't like. Ang baho pakinggan," she says.
The video ends with Mikael promising to take care of her and avoid making her laugh to keep her from the pain.
"I'm taking care of her. I won't make her laugh anymore," the actor says.
Impatso is also known as indigestion or dyspepsia. It is caused by a number of factors including eating food that is spicy and fatty or is high acid or fiber, eating too late in the day, drinking alcohol or too much caffeine, taking certain medicines, smoking, and lack of sleep.
Mikael is glad that even with the length of their relationship, they still learn from each other and find things to laugh together about.
"A decade into our relationship and we're still teaching each other new things. In this unexpected moment, it seems I taught Boneezy a new word-- “impatso” Given the circumstances, she probably will never forget the meaning of this word. We have some negative reinforcement from the discomfort and some positive reinforcement from the comedy of the whole situation haha :P" he wrote on Instagram.
In what seems to be retaliation, Megan shared a video of Mikael looking hilarious as he does his skincare routine.
"When no one knew Fofo and I were together, I was told that there were many fish in the sea to choose from little did they know, I had already caught myself a tuna panga here he is doing his very interesting skincare routine ," she wrote.
