Michelle Madrigal bares her reasons for getting breast implants and for finally getting them removed as she prepares for an explant surgery.

Michelle admitted to having her breasts augmented back in 2007 or 2008.

According to the former actress, she did it out of insecurity and vanity.

But following this admission was her realization that going under the knife was not the solution to her problems.

She said, “I just think that if I knew back then that having larger breasts or I don't know, whatever enhancements you've done, it's not really going to fix any issues inside.

“It's really just a mindset, and you have to go through things in order for you to overcome them.”

Further, Michelle claimed to experience sharp chest pains and other symptoms that she fears might lead to an illness caused by her implants.

She shared that she's been feeling discomfort while doing her regular activities like while working out, running, or even while in bed.

She has decided to finally reverse her breast surgery considering her new roles as a mom and a wife, and her personal commitment to health and wellness.

She stated, “I just want this out of my system. It doesn't serve me anymore.

“Yes, in my younger years I only cared about my looks, trying to look cute, whatever, trying to boost up your confidence.

“But I'm just in a different phase in my life now. I've accepted myself for who I am.

“It's not just sustainable for our lifestyle anymore. I don't want to be going through multiple surgeries every 15 to 20 years.

“Think about it, and think long-term because that's something I didn't do for myself.

“I just got so caught up with looking good, boosting my confidence.

“Maybe I was just so caught up with that that I didn't even think of my health,” she also advised the other women.

Michelle is now living in Austin, Texas with her husband Troy Woolfolk and their daughter Anika.
