Did you know Queen P cried twice at the Miss Universe competition? First was shortly after she was crowned, the other was a year after before she crowned the next pageant winner.
In an unseen footage which circulated online, the newly crowned Miss Universe 2015 cries backstage as if totally overwhelmed. The same video was included in the audio-visual presentation of her Miss Universe journey during the 2016 pageant.
Although Pia was all smiles when she passed on the crown to Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere of France, the 2015 titleholder wasn’t able to hold back her tears backstage. New York-based photographer Caryn Leigh was able to capture the moment.
The Filipina beauty queen is still handled by her talent management in the United States and has her whole February booked.
