Ang ideya na ito ay ang pagsasanib puwersa ng Japanese toy maker na Tamiya at ng official distributor nito sa Pilipinas na The Brickyard.

Ayon sa owner nito na si Ferdie Khan, importante raw na ipakita ang kultura ng Pinoy sa world stage ng mini car racing.

“I think it's very important,” aniya.

“It's the first time for the Philippines to show off our culture, our country, and to get into the world [racing] stage.”

'Di lang sa disenyo ang ikatutuwa ng mga Pinoy Tamiya enthusiasts, kung 'di pati na rin sa produksyon nito. Dahil ang Jeepney-inspired mini toy cars ay gawa rin sa Pilipinas.

Bahagi ni Ferdie, “It's made with plastic and by the way, it's made in Cebu.

“Mga two thousand people ang currently working in the production plant.”

Ilalabas raw ang 4-wheel drive plastic toy cars ngayong Huwebes, June 6, sa The Brickyard.
