Manila Bay, on the other hand, undeniably has the most alluring and romantic view of sunset.
However, despite the beauty they possess, both tourist attractions had to undergo rehabilitation.
In the sixth episode of The Healthy Juan: Kalusugan, Kabuhayan, Kapaligiran, Kapuso host Susan Enriquez visited Boracay and Manila Bay to learn about the journey and marvel at the result of the rehabilitation.
In February 2018, Philippine president Rodrigo Duterte initiated the redevelopment of Boracay due to several environmental violations. And because Manila Bay is polluted with tons of garbage, a clean-up campaign was also held this year.
Now, Boracay has been named by a travel magazine as 2019's Best Island in Asia, while Manila Bay is dearly loved by Filipinos that many volunteers joined in the campaign.
