Biak Na Bato National Park in Biyahe ni Drew

Surprise yourself by exploring these mesmerizing caves in San Miguel, Bulacan.

Some caves possess beauty that remains hidden and mystifying from the outside world.

If you are one of those people who are afraid of exploring these natural wonders, visiting Biak Na Bato National Park just might change your mind.

Biyahe Ni Drew explored three mesmerizing caves with unique features located in Biak Na Bato National Park in San Miguel, Bulacan.

According to biyaherong host Drew Arellano, “Ang mga kweba rito ang nagsisilbi raw na bahay noon ng first inhabitants ng Bulacan. Ang tahanan nila noon, tourist destination na ngayon!”

Ready your flashlights because the first one is Madlum Cave. Literally a very dark cave, the name Madlum comes from the Kapampangan term “madalumdum” which translates to “madilim” in Filipino.

Do not fret if that does not appeal to you. There is another cave that is less intense, yet will still give you the right amount of adventure. Reflective of its name, the Pahingahan Cave is perfect for those who want a more relaxing experience.

However, if you want to have the ultimate caving experience, the Bayukbok Cave is the place to be.

“Kung gusto n'yo naman ng mas level-up na caving, o yung tipong magli-Limbo Rock kayo sa pagpasok sa lagusan, ang kweba naman ng Bayukbok ang siguradong susubok sa inyong flexibility,” Drew said.

Furthermore, Bayukbok Cave 1 houses a one-of-a-kind feature that you should never miss -- the “music room.”

This cave has a “music room” inside because of the melodic percussion sounds the stones can produce.

Do you want to hear the sound in the “music room” of Bayukbok Cave?
