In a series of tweets, the movie's director Josh Trank revealed that the movie will be released on May 12.

He also added that the movie originally had a theatrical release, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic it will now be available via on-demand streaming. However, he still hopes that the film can be seen in theaters later this year.

Aside from Tom, the movie also stars Linda Cardellini, Noel Fisher, Jack Lowden, Matt Dillon, and Kyle MacLachlan.
