Playing the lead role of Nimue in the series is Australian actress Katherine Langford.

According to polygon.com, Cursed is based on a book by TV writer Tom Wheeler and acclaimed comics writer and illustrator Frank Miller.

The series imagines a version of the King Arthur legend in which the Lady of the Lake is the true hero.

The two-minute trailer was released on YouTube on June 30 and is already a hit, with over 1.7 million views as of writing.
