Watch how Miguel Tanfelix reacted when Ysabel Ortega convinced him that she had to leave their shoot for GMANetwork.com.
What We Could Be and Voltes V Legacy stars Ysabel Ortega and Miguel Tanfelix recently shot a GMANetwork.com special called Kapuso Profiles at Palazzo Verde events place in Las Piñas City.
But just before the shoot ended, Ysabel managed to sneak in a birthday surprise for Miguel, as seen on the video uploaded by the entertainment website today, September 21, when the actor turned 24.
But the catch is, Ysabel has to make Miguel believe that she can no longer finish the shoot with him because she needs to be somewhere else.
It is seen in the video how Ysabel used her acting skills to convince Miguel that she has to leave the shoot. Thanks also to Miguel's handler, Jess Senido, who also served as her accomplice.
Miguel visibly tried to maintain his composure as he continued with the interviews.
Ysabel then went out of her dressing room while holding a cake and started to sing a "Happy birthday" song for Miguel.
Her wish for her onscreen partner?
"Sana lahat ng goals mo in life, ma-achive mo but not just that. 'Yung wish ko for you is to stay motivated na makamit mo 'yung goal na 'yon kasi it's not just about the destination, it's about the journey. So sana hindi ka mawalan ng motivation. Sana palagi kang hungry for what you want," Ysabel's birthday message to Miguel.
