Pia and Megan are fangirling over Pokémon Go!

Pinoy fans are itching to become the best Pokémon trainer in the world with many eagerly anticipating the release in the country of the blockbuster smartphone game, Pokémon Go.

Pokémon Go is the highly popular augmented reality game made by Niantic and Nintendo, which is a spin-off of the hit anime show, Pokémon.

Even Pinay beauty queens are not immune from the global craze of Pokémon Go. Miss World 2013 Megan Young tweeted that she is hoping that the smartphone app game will be released in the Philippines soon.

Meanwhile, reigning Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach even walked around the streets of New York just to play and catch those Pokémons.

In a video shared by Pokémon Go PH on Facebook yesterday, one could see Pia having lots of fun with the game. She even revealed that her favorite Pokémon is the cute but electrifying, Pikachu. What’s more, Pia even sang the theme song of the Pokémon anime show.
